Carrier Dome Tour, Friday, Sept. 9th
900 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13244 Join the ASHRAE Central NY Chapter for a tour of the Carrier Dome. This may be your last chance to see the equipment used to pressurize the dome roof and condition the building before the dome is switched to a hard roof in the coming year.
We will be meeting at the Carrier Dome on September 14 at 5:30 PM ET. Dinner is included and will follow at the 44 Club. Note that the cost of this meeting is $35 for general admission (prepay or pay at door) and $25 for life members.

Drive And Shine: Electric Vehicle Expo And Solar Fair! Sunday, Sept. 11th
WHAT: Join us for this fun and unique event, highlighting two technologies that are helping thousands of Central New Yorkers to take advantage of clean transportation and renewable energy! There will be an electric vehicle expo as well as information available on how affordable electric vehicles and solar energy have become, and how easy they are to take advantage of. Dozens of experts from both technologies will be available to answer all of your questions. Nonprofit organizations as well as city and state elected officials will be present. There will also be food trucks, live music, and activities for kids!
WHEN: Sunday, September 11th, 2016; 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
WHERE: Parking Lot at Corner of S. Clinton and W. Washington Street, Syracuse, NY (just West of Perseverance Park)

* Electric Vehicles will be available for test drives and ride alongs, including: Ford Fusion, Cadillac ELR, Tesla Model S, Nissan LEAF, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, Chevy Volt, and more!
* The Installers from SolarizeCNY will be available for customers to talk to about signing up for a free solar assessment, and to learn more about community solar, which is new in NYS this year
* Several food trucks and live bands
* City and state elected representatives will make an appearance
* Sunny 102 will be airing live from 12:00 – 2:00 pm
