Greetings fellow astrophiles,
Passing along a note from the CNYO Facebook Group about a dome and building available for free in Baldwinsville. The owner, Bob Hayes, remarks that:
“…the observatory is still available to anyone that wants to disassemble and remove it. I must add that it is not a kit. I designed and built it. I’ve had people ask if it would fit in a mini-van. It’s an 8′ diameter dome setting on 5′ tall walls.”

I’m interested in the observation . I’m in otisco with property down by the lake and up the hill in the valley . I also have a large scope needing space to park .. get back please .

Its set up currently on my property with a deck . Inside a 12 in concrete pier with C14 . A huge thank you to the donor . Upgrades were new shutters , fiberglass over steel trussed frame . And new wheels on domd rotation . Interior insulation, , red lighting , shelving and audio system .. used a lot , well worth the effort to get .. steve in otisco
